libloadpng4-dev software package provides development files for the PNG loading addon for Allegro 4, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libloadpng4-dev
libloadpng4-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libloadpng4-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libloadpng4-dev *
You will get with libloadpng4-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
